Introducing AI Spend

Hey everyone 👋, I'm excited to be back with a new tool for all the AI enthusiasts! As someone who's built a few AI products integrating with OpenAI, I want to keep track of my API costs and identify any instances of abuse or runaway apps.

There are tools where you can go and put in an API key to see your usage - but I wanted passive monitoring. So, I built AI Spend - an intelligent monitoring tool that synchronizes your API usage per model in cost, tokens, and requests in an encrypted database. This data is then presented to you in an easy-to-understand dashboard.

The best part? Even if you don't have time to dig into the dashboard, AI Spend sends you daily, weekly, and monthly notifications 🔔 of your spending (including some analytics), making it easy to stay on top of any changes in your API usage.

Using AI Spend, you can analyze cost trends, track which models you're using the most, and optimize the number of tokens you're sending with each request.
